How to Apply for a Grant
The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin welcomes grant applications from nonprofit organizations and other community projects in Portage and Waushara counties.
Volunteer grants teams and the Foundation's staff review each proposal. Their recommendations are sent to the Board of Directors for final approval. Typically grants support helping people, wellness, arts and culture, education and the environment.
Grant applications, guidelines and a listing of past grants are available through our website. We encourage potential applicants to discuss their ideas with staff before submitting an application. To arrange an appointment, please contact the Foundation office at 715-342-4454.
The Foundation encourages organizations to be creative in their thinking and articulate their aspirations for the Portage and Waushara county areas. The Foundation will then help turn their most promising aspirations into reality.
