Awards for 2011
Every year the Community Foundation receives numerous requests for grants to support community programs. This year alone we received 35 requests and were able to fund $17,950 from the Foundation’s Mission Funds.
Though the Foundation Mission Funds cannot fund every grant request received, our Donor-Advised Funds are able to assist in funding many of these grant requests. These Donor Advisors review all incoming grant requests and decide how they can participate in funding them.
Together with funding from our Mission Funds and our Donor-Advised Funds, we work together to meet as many community needs as possible.
Together in 2011 we gave back nearly $500,000 to our community.
